Battlin, the unified gaming tournament platform developed by KRAFTON, has commenced registrations for its inaugural event, Battlin Open Season 1. The tournament, centered around Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), provides a direct qualification pathway into India’s premier BGMI competition, BGIS, for its Track 1 winner, weeks ahead of official BGIS registrations.
The Battlin Open Season 1 features a total prize pool of ₹20 lakh and offers over 5,000 open slots for participants. Registrations are open until November 1, 2026, with the competition scheduled to run from November 2 to November 29, 2026. This initiative aims to broaden access for grassroots players seeking entry into competitive BGMI esports.

KRAFTON: Tournament Structure and Prize Pool
The tournament is structured into two distinct tracks:
* **Track 1:** This open competition runs from November 2 to November 23. The winning team of Track 1 will secure a coveted direct slot in BGIS, effectively bypassing the initial registration phase for the flagship tournament. Track 1 carries a prize pool of ₹5 lakh.
* **Track 2:** Scheduled from November 24 to November 29, Track 2 will feature 32 teams. This includes 28 invited teams alongside the top four teams from Track 1. The top 16 teams by points will advance to the Track 2 Finale on November 29, where the first Battlin Open champion will be determined. The prize pool allocated for Track 2 is ₹15 lakh.
Entry is open to all eligible teams, requiring no prior tournament history or invitations. The platform emphasizes a merit-based approach, with competition decided solely by player skill.
The Battlin Platform
Launched earlier this month by KRAFTON (https://www.krafton.com), Battlin serves as a comprehensive platform for tournament discovery, registration, management, results tracking, and reward disbursement. The platform is designed to offer transparency, with reward conditions and disbursement timelines visible within the application prior to registration. All reward disbursements are handled directly by the platform, and no wagering, staking, or betting mechanisms are incorporated.
James Yongkwan Kim, Lead – Battlin at KRAFTON, highlighted the platform’s objective: “Battlin Open aims to provide a clear and structured route from open participation to significant recognition. For one team, this tournament will complete their journey to BGIS before the official registrations even commence, demonstrating Battlin’s commitment to supporting the competitive aspirations of grassroots players.”
The Battlin Open Season 1 is positioned as an opportunity for emerging talent to gain competitive experience and recognition within the Indian esports ecosystem. For more information on this and other [latest esports news and updates](https://technosports.co.in/), visit TechnoSports.
