KRAFTON, Inc., the South Korean video game company, today announced the launch of Battlin, a unified gaming tournament platform designed to centralize and enhance competitive play across India. The platform, initially focusing on Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), aims to provide a more accessible, organized, and transparent ecosystem for players and tournament organizers.

Battlin addresses existing challenges within the Indian competitive gaming landscape, where tournament participation often relies on informal channels such as group chats for room IDs and third-party applications for registration. The new platform consolidates tournament discovery, registration, competition, and results tracking into a single interface. Players can find and register for open tournaments without requiring personal connections or invitations, with reward conditions and disbursement timelines visible prior to registration.

KRAFTON Streamlining Competition for Players and Organizers

For participants, Battlin simplifies the journey from casual play to competitive engagement. The platform offers daily tournaments, allowing players to track their progress and secure recognition. A key feature is the transparent reward system, where disbursement timelines are clearly outlined in-app.

Tournament organizers also benefit from Battlin’s integrated functionalities. The platform automates various administrative tasks, including competition creation, participant registration, scheduling, room management, and notifications. This automation reduces the effort required to host tournaments, making it feasible to set up events in hours rather than days. Crucially, Battlin handles reward disbursement directly, fostering greater transparency and trust in the competitive process.

James Yongkwan Kim, Lead – Battlin at KRAFTON, highlighted the platform’s objective: “India possesses a robust foundation of competitive players and enthusiastic communities, but the pathway from casual engagement to serious competition has often been fragmented. Through Battlin, we aim to enhance the accessibility of competitive play, allowing players to discover and join tournaments independently of personal contacts or invitations.” Kim added that by integrating discovery, participation, and transparent rewards, Battlin seeks to offer competitive players increased visibility and a clear route from grassroots involvement to professional recognition.

Battlin Open Season 1 Commences

The launch of Battlin coincides with the debut of Battlin Open Season 1, the platform’s inaugural tournament series. Registrations are currently open until November 1, 2026, offering over 5,000 slots. The competition is scheduled to run from November 2 to November 29, 2026, featuring two distinct tracks.

Track 1 offers a prize pool of ₹5,00,000 and includes a coveted slot in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) for the winning team. Track 2 carries a prize pool of ₹15,00,000, with the finale on November 29, 2026, determining the first Battlin Open champion. All results will be tracked and rewards disbursed through the platform.

KRAFTON emphasizes that competition on Battlin is purely skill-based, with no wagering, staking, or betting mechanics integrated into the platform. This focus reinforces the commitment to fair play and genuine competitive merit. For more information on KRAFTON’s initiatives, visit their official website at KRAFTON (https://www.krafton.com/).
