Krafton teases Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS version, could possibly launch on August 20

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been one of the most successful games in India, the game has recorded millions of users and downloads in just a matter of weeks, the game is so good that the developer has had to impose a time restriction on how many hours each user can play in a day!

While Battlegrounds Mobile India first came out in June, it was released only for Android users, even during the beta phase of the game, iOS users did not have access to it. But it appears as though iOS users’ wait has almost come to an end as the developer shared a post on Facebook that hints at a possible rollout for iOS users very soon, probably as early as the 20th of August.

The game has already grossed nearly 50 million downloads in India by Android users, the recent post by Battlegrounds Mobile India that features a poster with a big metallic question mark where the dot is substituted by a logo that eerily resembles an Apple(tweaked for trademark purposes) with the caption “We thought you missed it earlier. So, just wanted to let you know. Stay tuned for more!”

Going away from this post for a second, news portal InsideSport stated that Battlegrounds Mobile India’s release date is August 20, citing information leaked via the company’s website. This is, however, a rumor that we are unable to confirm at the moment so take it with a grain of salt.

But with such an evident teaser, we surely are not that far off from the official release of Krafton’s Battlegrounds Mobile India for iOS users. The game offers everything that PUBG did before it got banned but is now back with major tweaks that make it more suited for the Indian market.
