In this pandemic condition, the economic condition falls down in a huge measure. As a result, so many companies have been forced to lay off. But this is not true for all, firms with enough financial capacity are still recruiting. Not only giant firms, but there are also so many sectors or employers.

In this condition, Google comes up with its trusted platform named ‘Kormo’ where verified employers and job seekers can reach each other. This app was available in India from the last year as ‘Job Spot’, Google just rebranded it today (19th August). So many companies including Zomato and Dunzo have already posted over two million jobs on this platform.

This app was firstly launched in Bangladesh back in September 2018 where the name ‘Kormo’ means work in Bengali. Later this app expanded to other developing markets including Indonesia.

Google says Kormo can help a user to find jobs, along with schedule interviewes, build CV for free, and learn new skills. Besides, job seekers can also choose vacancies as per their interest sections in preferred locations. Apart from this, this app provides free training contents too either in video or article or course format.
