Some TV moments never fade, and Karan Johar’s couch has produced plenty. With Koffee With Karan Season 9 confirmed as the final season, it’s the perfect time to revisit two moments fans still talk about.

The Accent Question That Sparked a Comeback
Karan once brought up a question Kareena Kapoor had reportedly asked about Priyanka Chopra’s accent. When he asked Priyanka where she got it from, she fired back with a witty line that pointed at Kareena’s then-boyfriend, Saif Ali Khan. The couch erupted, and the reply became one of the show’s most memorable moments.
Years later, the two actresses sat on that same couch together in Season 6. Fans who had followed their alleged cold war were surprised to see them openly discuss their old rivalry and show how far they’d come.
Farah Khan and the “Overrated” Confusion
In another episode, Karan asked Farah Khan for her honest opinion of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She reportedly gave a blunt answer, and the word “overrated” made headlines. It was later revealed that she had actually called Ajay Devgn overrated, not SLB, and she apologized to the actor.
