Xiaomi is expected to introduce its new flagship series tomorrow on the 28th of December, we expect to see the Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro on the launch stage, while rumors also suggested a Xiaomi 12X is on its way.
The devices will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, and today, the company CEO Lei Jun revealed more information about the Xiaomi 12 Series.
The Xiaomi 12 will arrive with 67W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging support, while the Pro will feature 120W fast charging.
The complete list of Xiaomi 12 Pro specs leaked online, along with some renders and live images, suggesting yet another camera redesign that will have a triple camera setup with a 50MP sensor at the helm.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro will have three 50MP sensors on the back, Xiaomi is competing with Oppo and its two-50MP solution with a 50MP sensor for the main, ultra-wide, and telephoto cameras.
The one behind the main aperture will be a Sony IMX707, which is 1/1.28″ in size and will support pixel-binning with one big 2.44µm pixel.
The battery will have a capacity of 4,600mAh that will support Xiaomi’s dual charging that protects it from overheating. Other specs include a 6.73″ display with a resolution of 1440 and up to 120Hz refresh rate along with a 480Hz touch sampling rate.
We are not sure if the Xiaomi 12 Pro will sell outside of China, the Mi 11 Pro was exclusive to China, and if a 12 Ultra is indeed on the way, Xiaomi could follow the same strategy that it had adopted for the previous series.
