Katrina Kaif’s First Mother’s Day: Baby Vihaan’s Peek-a-Boo Moment and Vicky Kaushal’s Handwritten Note That Melted the Internet

Some celebrity moments are manufactured for the gram. And then there are moments like this one — pure, unfiltered, and so quietly human that they stop you mid-scroll. Katrina Kaif’s first Mother’s Day post was exactly that kind of moment.

A ‘Mama’s POV’ That Went Viral Instantly

On Mother’s Day 2026, Katrina Kaif took to Instagram to share a series of heartwarming ‘Mama’s pov’ photos, giving fans a rare and tender glimpse into her new life as a mother to baby boy Vihaan.

One standout image in the post featured a stunning bouquet of soft pink roses alongside a handwritten card from Vicky Kaushal, signed by both the actor and their son, wishing Katrina a happy first Mother’s Day. It was the kind of small, intimate detail — a handwritten note, not a designer gift or a grand gesture — that made fans fall even harder for this couple.

Another photo in the series captured a tender moment of baby Vihaan’s tiny hands reaching out toward a baby book — a snapshot so delicate and real it felt like a private family album accidentally made public, in the best possible way.

Bollywood Showered Them With Love

The post triggered an outpouring of warmth from across the film industry. Kareena Kapoor Khan led the celebratory comments, and she was joined by Shweta Bachchan, Shibani Akhtar, Sagarika Ghatge, singer Harshdeep Kaur, and filmmaker Shilpaa Srivastava, among many others.

Fans were equally moved, with one calling Vihaan one of the luckiest babies in the world to have such a beautiful mother. It is the kind of warmth that defines Mother’s Day in its truest spirit — not the flowers or the brunch, but the feeling of being seen and loved.

True to their private nature, Katrina and Vicky had kept the pregnancy largely out of the spotlight until September 2025, when they confirmed it with a maternity shoot, before officially introducing Vihaan to the world in January 2026.

What’s Next for Katrina on the Work Front?

Fans are eagerly awaiting updates on the female-led road trip film Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The film has had a long wait, but with Katrina now settled into motherhood, hopes are high that 2026 or 2027 will finally see it take shape.
