Kartavya OTT Release Date Locked: Netflix Crime Drama Starring Saif Ali Khan

Netflix has officially locked the Kartavya OTT Release Date, confirming when audiences can finally stream the much-talked-about crime drama backed by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment. Headlined by Saif Ali Khan, the film is being positioned as a tense, character-driven story that blends duty, morality, and personal cost—exactly the kind of gritty thriller that has recently found a strong fanbase on streaming.

Kartavya OTT Release Date: Quick Snapshot

The announcement also adds extra buzz because it brings together two major Bollywood forces in different roles: Shah Rukh Khan as producer and hype-man for the project’s rollout, and Saif Ali Khan as the face of the narrative—a law-enforcement figure caught between responsibility and consequence. Netflix, meanwhile, has framed the project as part of its ongoing push for high-stakes Hindi originals with strong emotional hooks.

With the premiere date now confirmed, Kartavya becomes a clear “mark-the-calendar” title for crime-drama fans—especially those who enjoy morally complex cops, high-pressure investigations, and stories where every decision has a price.

Netflix’s official announcement confirms the film will stream from 15 May 2026.

What Kartavya Is About (Story Setup)

Kartavya is being promoted as a story of “duty and dilemma,” with Saif Ali Khan playing a cop who finds himself pulled into a situation where professional obligation clashes with personal stakes. The promotional material strongly suggests a grounded thriller tone—more tension and moral pressure than glossy heroism.

Cast, Backing, and Why This Pairing Is Creating Buzz

Even without Shah Rukh Khan appearing on-screen, his involvement matters: Red Chillies Entertainment has a strong track record of ambitious productions, and Netflix’s Hindi originals strategy adds scale and reach. Saif Ali Khan, meanwhile, is a natural fit for layered, intense roles—making him a strong anchor for a crime drama built on tough choices.

Netflix and multiple reports also highlight Shah Rukh Khan’s role in unveiling/confirming the date through official promotional pushes.

What to Expect on Release Day

Since the Kartavya OTT Release Date is fixed for 15 May 2026, viewers can expect Netflix to ramp up promotion in the days leading to release—typically with a final trailer push, short character promos, and interviews focused on Saif’s role and the story’s ethical conflict.
