83rd Golden Globes 2026: K-Pop & K-Drama Stars Attendance

Lisa’s Historic Golden Globes Moment

Lalisa Manobal absolutely commanded attention in her flowing black Mark Gong sheer tuxedo gown. The BLACKPINK member let her gorgeous brown waves cascade down her shoulders, accessorizing minimally with a chunky statement necklace and a single golden ring. Her philosophy? Let natural charm speak louder than excessive bling. This wasn’t just a red carpet appearance—it was a watershed moment for K-pop’s global influence.

Fresh off her acting debut in The White Lotus Season 3, Lisa’s presenter role at the Golden Globes signals her successful pivot from music icon to legitimate Hollywood player. According to the Golden Globe Awards organization, Lisa’s participation reflects the ceremony’s commitment to celebrating diverse global talent. With a BLACKPINK comeback on the horizon and multiple acting projects lined up, 2026 is shaping up to be another banner year for the Thai superstar.

Joshua Hong’s Red Carpet Debut

SEVENTEEN’s Joshua proved he’s not just a stage performer—he’s a bonafide fashion icon! The K-pop idol opted for understated elegance with his sleek black suit, elevated by strategically open buttons and a stunning statement brooch on his lapel. This wasn’t just menswear; it was a masterclass in modern masculinity meets classic Hollywood glamour.

Following SEVENTEEN’s massive 2025 album Happy Burstday, which became the first 2025 release to exceed 2.5 million sales in its debut week, Joshua’s Golden Globes appearance cements the group’s status as global entertainment powerhouses beyond music.

Lee Byung Hun’s Classic Elegance

The Squid Game legend kept it timelessly sophisticated in an all-black tailored suit. After dominating 2025 with both Squid Game 3 and the animated film KPop Demon Hunters, Lee Byung Hun’s Golden Globes presence underscores his enduring appeal across generations and entertainment mediums.

Cultural Impact: The prominent K-pop and K-drama representation at the 83rd Golden Globes isn’t just about fashion—it’s a powerful statement about Asian entertainment’s undeniable influence on global pop culture. From Lisa’s historic presenter role to Joshua’s red carpet debut, these moments prove Korean entertainment has permanently reshaped Hollywood’s landscape.

The KPop Demon Hunters Trio

EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami—the talented trio behind the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack—also graced the red carpet, proving that Korean-influenced music extends far beyond traditional K-pop boundaries into animated film and beyond.
