Due to his performances, Morata is set to stay for one more season and they will pay €10 million to Atletico Madrid to extend his loan spell. The 28-year-old is currently with the Spain squad for the upcoming European Championships.
Keeping to Atletico Madrid and Italian clubs, Rodrigo De Paul is close to joining the Rojiblancos. Diego Simeone appreciates the player, and he has made a name for himself by starring for Udinese over the past five seasons. In 20/21, De Paul scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists as Udinese finished 14th in the table.
The club wants €40 million for the Argentina international, while other Italian clubs are bidding €20 million for his services. De Paul has earned 19 caps for his national team, and is a part of the squad competing for World Cup qualification. He is a creative midfielder, and could provide some great attacking dimensions to Simeone’s disciplined defensive tactics.
