Just when you thought Jr NTR’s slate couldn’t get any more exciting, the man goes and announces this. The internet has collectively lost its mind — and honestly, same.
What Is NTRxTrivikram?
Jr NTR and director Trivikram Srinivas have officially reunited for a second time for a highly anticipated film centred on Lord Murugan (God of War), tentatively titled NTRxTrivikram. The duo previously collaborated on Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in 2018.
Sharing the announcement, Jr NTR wrote: “The Son of Shiva. The Pride of Parvathi. The Eternal Commander. And, once again with TRIVIKRAM.” The artwork features Lord Murugan’s iconic Vel (divine spear), set against the backdrop of a war-torn battlefield.
Few announcements in South Indian cinema carry this kind of weight — a generational actor, a master storyteller, and one of Hinduism’s most powerful deities. This is the kind of project that defines careers.

Why This Combination Is Electrifying
Trivikram Srinivas is one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated writer-directors, known for layered characters, powerful dialogues, and emotional depth. Jr NTR, fresh off the global success of RRR and with Dragon in the pipeline, is at the absolute peak of his career as a performer. The two together previously delivered one of the finest mass entertainers in recent Telugu cinema history.
Now, channelling that creative synergy into the mythological space — and specifically into the legend of Lord Murugan, the Hindu God of War also known as Kartikeya, Skanda, and Subramanyam — is a combination that feels almost fated.
With Anirudh Ravichander on music, this project already has the makings of a pan-India epic that could rival the scale and emotion of the biggest mythological films ever made. For more updates on Jr NTR’s upcoming films and South Indian cinema’s biggest announcements, follow TechnoSports.
