Jonathan Clauss to join Marseille for €8m

Jonathan Clauss is set to join Marseille in the coming days. An agreement has been reached between Lens and Marseille over an €8 million fee for the wing-back. He has now completed his medical for the transfer, and is set to be announced as a new arrival for the club very soon.

There were rumours that he would be joining Manchester United in the last few days – even though they signed Tyrell Malacia. The player himself said that he dreamt of playing for Chelsea, but the Blues never made any bid for him. And now, he is set to remain in Ligue 1 and play in the Champions League this season.
