The Plot: Race Against Time
Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families. After finishing their final concert of the tour in London, the brothers’ plane home is mysteriously destroyed, forcing them to navigate a chaotic journey through Paris, Amsterdam, and beyond using planes, trains, and automobiles.
A magical Santa character played by Jesse Tyler Ferguson appears responsible for the trio’s failed travel plans, suggesting “Nothing like Christmas to help a family rediscover its magic” when Joe confesses their brotherly bond has lost its spark. The journey becomes more than just getting home—it’s about rediscovering what makes them brothers beyond just being the Jonas Brothers.
Star-Studded Ensemble Cast
The film features Chloe Bennet as Lucy, with additional cast including Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Randall Park, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Musical legends Kenny G and Justin Tranter appear as themselves, while family members including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Danielle Jonas make special cameos.
The romantic subplot features Joe Jonas developing a connection with Lucy during their journey, with Kevin and Nick playfully teasing him about his track record with connections.
New Christmas Album Drops Alongside Film
The Jonas Brothers will release a Christmas album to coincide with the movie’s release, featuring at least eight new original songs—their first holiday album as a band. Fans have already gotten a taste with “Coming Home This Christmas,” showcasing the brothers’ harmonies alongside Kenny G’s signature saxophone.
Full Circle Disney Moment
The Jonas Brothers’ ties with Disney run deep, as the band signed with Disney’s Hollywood Records before skyrocketing into fame in the 2008 Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock, later starring in Camp Rock 2 and their own Disney Channel series Jonas from 2009 to 2010. This reunion represents a heartfelt return to where their journey began.
