JioMart revokes delivery charges fully from now_TechnoSports.co.in

Back in April, this year, Jio started testing its groceries sell and delivery called JioMart in the Navi Mumbai, Thane, and Kalyan. Later on, in May, it officially launched in 200 cities over India. From the beginning, there was a condition to get free delivery. The customer had to order items worth a minimum of ₹750.

To compete with other similar platforms like Big Basket, Amazon, and Flipkart, JioMart now revokes its delivery charge condition. The announcement is made on last Friday, according to which all the groceries from JioMart will be free for delivery and no minimum order amount limit will be there.

Apart from groceries, JioMart also will expand to electronics, fashion, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare products. Presently its service is available in 200 cities and as per Mukesh Ambani’s report, they are getting over 2,50,000 orders every day.

Though the company has the plan to expand in more cities in India with more categories of products, but in Reliance’s AGM Ambani said that this expansion is fully stopped now. Though no specific reason is declared for this.

We all know, Jio already bagged a great amount of investment from various global market leaders like Google, Facebook, Qualcomm, and more. A percentage of that may be utilized to spread JioMart’s service later.
