Jim Carrey, 64, Marries Girlfriend Min Ah, 32, in Private Ceremony

Jim Carrey has married his girlfriend, Min Ah, in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, a representative for the actor confirmed to ABC News. The wedding, which reportedly took place in September 2026, marks the 64-year-old actor’s third marriage.

How the Relationship Became Public

Carrey and Min Ah, an actress and artist, had reportedly been together since 2022, when they were first photographed leaving a Los Angeles event together. The couple kept their relationship largely private until February 2026, when they made their first public appearance together at the César Awards in Paris, where Carrey received an honorary award for his career in cinema.

During his acceptance speech, delivered entirely in French, Carrey publicly acknowledged Min Ah for the first time, thanking her as his “sublime companion” and telling her, “I love you, Min Ah.” He was joined at the ceremony by his daughter, Jane Erin Carrey, his grandson, and Min Ah herself.

According to Carrey’s representative, the couple married in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles, with the wedding reportedly taking place in September 2026, roughly seven months after their public debut as a couple in Paris. Details about the ceremony itself, including guests and location specifics, have not been made public.

Carrey’s Marriage History

This marks Jim Carrey’s third marriage. He was previously married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, with whom he shares daughter Jane Erin Carrey, and later to his Dumb and Dumber co-star Lauren Holly, a marriage that began in 1996 and lasted less than a year. Carrey has also previously discussed his hesitancy toward remarriage, having said in 2014 that he did not see himself getting married again.

Who Is Min Ah?

Described as an actress and artist, Min Ah has largely stayed out of the public eye despite her yearslong relationship with Carrey. Their February 2026 appearance at the César Awards marked her first significant public moment alongside the actor, and further personal details about her have not been widely reported.
