The Price of Confession Facts at a Glance

What’s The Price of Confession About?

This mystery thriller centers on Yoon Soo, portrayed by Jeon Do Yeon, a woman accused of murdering her husband, and Mo Eun, played by Kim Go Eun, a mysterious figure known as a witch. The drama explores the dark and twisted relationship between these two women as they navigate prison life and shocking confessions.

The story kicks off when Yoon Soo calls emergency services to report her husband’s injury. However, her eerily calm demeanor during police interrogation—casually requesting mild coffee and referencing CSI—raises red flags. Despite maintaining her innocence, she’s sentenced to prison where she encounters Mo Eun, who makes an unexpected offer: confess to the murder in exchange for something unspecified.

A Reunion 10 Years in the Making

For fans of Korean cinema, this reunion is particularly special. Jeon Do Yeon and Kim Go Eun last worked together in the 2015 film Memories of the Sword, making their on-screen chemistry a highly anticipated element. Both actresses have evolved tremendously in their careers, with Jeon Do Yeon celebrated for her intense dramatic performances and Kim Go Eun winning hearts in hits like Goblin and The King: Eternal Monarch.

What the New Teaser Reveals

The recently released teaser is nothing short of chilling. We see Yoon Soo’s unsettling composure during interrogation, contrasted with raw emotion in prison. The most intriguing moment? Mo Eun’s confession offer and the subsequent tension between the two women, culminating in a dramatic slap scene. The teaser ends with the cryptic line: “We will end up doing this crazy thing,” leaving audiences wondering what desperate plan these two will hatch.

The poster itself speaks volumes—both women in prison uniforms, separated by a wall yet somehow connected, with Yoon Soo listening intently while Mo Eun sits sorrowfully on the other side. It’s a visual metaphor for their complicated relationship.
