What’s the Story About?
The Price of Confession centres on An Yun Su (Jeon Do Yeon), a woman whose quiet dream of a happy family life falls apart when her husband is murdered. Fighting to prove her innocence, she encounters Mo Eun (Kim Go Eun) — a mysterious inmate known among prisoners as the “Witch” for her uncanny ability to read people. Their unexpected connection sets off a chain of consequences neither can control, while prosecutor Baek Dong Hun and lawyer Jang Jeong Gu race from opposite sides to uncover what really happened.
Think two complex women, one dangerous secret, and two powerful men fighting for the truth. It’s already giving Juvenile Justice meets My Name energy, and fans cannot wait.
Why This K-Drama Is Already Buzzing
Director Lee Jeong Hyo is the creative force behind Crash Landing on You — arguably the most globally beloved K-drama ever — so expectations are through the roof. Writer Kwon Jong Kwan brings a legal thriller pedigree, and both lead actresses are considered among the finest in Korean cinema. This isn’t just hype; it’s a genuine awards-caliber production.
