“Pre-season has been carefully constructed with a periodisation plan,” said Head Coach Scoot Cooper.  “A lot of player and staff meetings have taken place to get us all on the same page and week by week we will start leveling up the team in order to get us ready for the first game once the season begins.”

The squad also consists of four players who have progressed from the Jamshedpur Youth teams and the prestigious Tata Football Academy (TFA) namely, Phijam Vikash Singh, Vishal Yadav , Nikhil Barla and Telem Saphaba Singh.

The first team is set to play 6-8 friendly games with prospective teams such as Gokulam Kerala, Punjab FC, NorthEast United and others set to come to Jamshedpur while the squad is slated to travel to Hyderabad to play two friendlies against Sreenidhi Deccan and Bengaluru FC.

The Hero ISL campaign is tentatively set to begin in the third week of September this year with a longer season expected owing to the addition of another team.
