Jailer 2: Shah Rukh Khan Set to Join Rajinikanth on Set in March 2026

Indian cinema is about to witness something truly special. Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly set to shoot his cameo for Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 in March 2026 — and if that doesn’t send a buzz down your spine, nothing will. Two of the biggest superstars in the country, on the same set, for what could be the most talked-about crossover appearance of the year.

Let’s break down everything we know so far about this mega Tamil-Bollywood mashup.

Jailer 2 — Overview

Why This Cameo Has Everyone Talking

According to reports by Valai Pechu, SRK is expected to shoot for 7–8 days for Jailer 2, and once his portion wraps up, it will essentially mark the completion of the film’s shoot entirely. While the makers haven’t issued an official statement yet, the buzz in industry circles is undeniably loud.

Jailer 2 is already stacked with an incredible ensemble — Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar returning from the first film, Mithun Chakraborty and Vidya Balan in significant new roles, SJ Suryah as the antagonist, and Nora Fatehi bringing the energy with a special dance number. Adding SRK to this mix? That’s not just a film — that’s an event.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar — the creative force behind Doctor and the original Jailer — this sequel promises to be bigger, bolder, and far more explosive than its predecessor.
