JYP Entertainment confirmed the announcement directly, stating that Chaeryeong is currently preparing an album with a November release in mind.

A Milestone Nearly Eight Years in the Making
Chaeryeong’s solo debut arrives roughly seven years and nine months after she first debuted with ITZY, following in the footsteps of groupmates Yeji and Yuna, who each launched their own solo careers before her. This makes her the third member of the five-piece group to branch out individually, continuing a trend that’s become common among top-tier K-pop groups as members build distinct artistic identities alongside their group activities — a dynamic closely tied to the broader structure of the K-pop industry, where group and solo promotions often run in parallel.
For fans tracking every update on Chaeryeong’s upcoming project, our K-pop and Korean entertainment coverage on TechnoSports will continue following the story as more details emerge.
Timing It Right Alongside ITZY’s World Tour
Notably, this solo debut comes while ITZY is deep into their third world tour, “TUNNEL VISION.” Balancing a global touring schedule with individual project preparation isn’t unusual in K-pop, but it does highlight just how packed Chaeryeong’s plate is likely to be over the coming months. Fans can expect more details, including possible teaser drops and music video previews, as November approaches.
With JYP Entertainment officially confirming the plans, all that’s left now is the wait for concrete release details — tracklists, concept teasers, and the first taste of what Chaeryeong’s solo sound will bring. Stay tuned to TechnoSports for further updates as this story develops.
