Where to Watch ISL Live
Sony Sports Network will hold satellite television rights across the Indian subcontinent, while Google streams every match live on YouTube, both in India and globally. Sony will additionally stream matches on SonyLIV within India, making the digital rights non-exclusive.
Why the Split Deal
The dual arrangement reflects a compromise among ISL clubs. “Many clubs wanted to go to YouTube for wider reach, but a few clubs wanted to keep traditional media channels to make sure sponsorship did not take a hit,” a source told Khel Now, leading to this hybrid broadcast model.
A First for ISL Clubs
Under the new deal, clubs will gain access to broadcast and streaming data, including overall and state-wise reach — the first time this information has been made available to them.
