ATK Mohun Bagan Team Profile
The Mariners missed out on the league title last year due to goal difference. This time around, they will be committed to securing the title. Under coach Antonio Habas, ATK are one of the favourites to win the title even though the campaign has not yet started.
Goals from Roy Krishna, David Williams and Liston Colaco will be key for the team this season. They could end up being the best attacking side in the league with the presence of creative midfielder Hugo Boumous.
With the likes of Pritahm Kotal, Tiri and Ashutosh Mehta in defense, it will be very difficult to break the team down defensively.
It is very difficult to find a clear weakness in the team. Their only possible drawback is their tendency to play on the backfoot against big teams. A solitary creative midfielder in Boumous might also prove to be a problem later on.
