The themes of friendship, love, breakups, and, of course, rebound are central to the movie. The film revolves around the friendship of Rohit, Pashmina, and Jibraan. Soon, it’s evident that Jibraan and Pashmina are falling in love, while Rohit and Naila are having private moments together. Trouble soon calls, and the two couples split up.

In a surprising turn of events, Rohit is then seen kissing Pashmina, causing further complications. Towards the end of the trailer, Rohit, standing with Jibraan, Pashmina and Naila, says, “Yaar hum log na dost hi theek the, yeh ishq-vishk ke chakkar ne na dosti ki bhi band bajadi. ” According to the trailer, the movie features “three friends, two love stories, and two breakups.”

Sharing a small clip from the trailer on Instagram, Rohit Saraf wrote, “Ab hoga #PyaarKaSecondRound, with #IshqVishkRebound”

“Get ready to fall in love all over again!” is the message that appears on the entire trailer that the creators posted on YouTube. Watch “Ishq Vishk Rebound’s” official trailer to get carried away by a storm of feelings. Watch this space for the ultimate romantic adventure!

The three friends—Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, and Jibraan Khan—are first shown in the teaser for Ishq Vishk Rebound. While Rohit is seeing Neha Grewal, Pashmina is seeing Jibraan. Pashmina is heard griping about how difficult it is for cult romance films to depict the bond between friendship and love.

She then references Karan Johar’s 1998 directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, “pyar dosti hai” (love is Friendship), and Sooraj Barjatya’s 1989 directorial debut, Maine Pyar Kiya, “ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi hote” (a boy and a girl can never be just friends).

Following their breakup, Pashmina and Rohit can be seen falling in love as they share a kiss. Rohit can’t stop thinking about her, even though he thinks rebound relationships like theirs are pointless. Rohit is forced to come to the conclusion that friendship shouldn’t have been sacrificed for love when this, predictably, leads to a confrontation between the two buddies.
