Mumbai City FC have signed India U-19 captain Ishaan Shishodia on a contract until the end of the 2026/27 season. The youngster most recently featured for the Odisha FC U18 side after debuting for the Delhi Dynamos U15 side, after being raised in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
The central midfielder has been officially unveiled as a new signing by the Islanders, highlighting their investment in youth as part of the City Football Group philosophy. As the captain of the India U-19 team, he guided the Blue Colts to the 2023 SAFF U-19 Championship in Nepal, after beating Pakistan in the final.

Shishodia will be available for the Islanders for the Kalinga Super Cup, and will be wearing the number 71 shirt for his new club.

It now remains to be seen whether the youngster will be integrated into the first team right away or whether he will work his way up through the youth ranks.
