What’s the Story?

The film follows a government health worker in remote Wayanad who cares for his bedridden brother while struggling with personal troubles. His quiet life is disrupted when an armed fugitive demands shelter as law enforcement closes in. Simple premise, layered execution — that seems to be the winning formula here.

What Is X (Twitter) Saying?

The reactions have been overwhelmingly positive since the first shows. Here’s a quick summary of the buzz:

Netizens praised the film as a creative, witty, and refreshing cinematic experience, calling it a must-watch for movie lovers — specifically highlighting Kunchacko Boban’s powerhouse performance and strong support from Dileesh Pothan and the rest of the cast.

A reviewer described it as a different kind of entertainer that smoothly blended investigation drama with humour, rating the film 4 out of 5 stars. FotMob

Others noted that the film worked well because of Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval’s unique storytelling style, alongside praise for its technical departments.

The reunion of KuBo and RBP — who previously collaborated on the critically adored Nna Thaan Case Kodu — is clearly the emotional core of this film’s appeal, and audiences are responding to it in a big way.

Should You Watch It?

Absolutely yes — if you enjoy smart, grounded Malayalam thrillers with a healthy dose of humour and character-driven storytelling. The content, casting, comedy, dialogues, performances, and background score were all noted as commendable aspects of the film.
