Mumbai Indians won their last match by 5 runs against Gujarat Titans which must have boosted their confidence a lot. They won’t be qualifying for the playoffs this season but will try their level best to win all the matches that will give them the pride. MI is at just four points, having played 10 matches and if they win the remaining matches, they would reach only 12 points which are still not enough to go to the next stage.

The Two-time winners of IPL, KKR, under new captain Shreyas Iyer, lost against Lucknow Super Giants on Saturday by a huge margin of defeat that left them with eight points from 11 games. They have three matches in hand and the maximum points they can reach is 14 which is again something that cannot guarantee even a fourth-place finish. Just like MI, they would also want to play this match for their team’s glory.

MI have won 2 out of 10 matches and are still in the last position in the points table. They defeated Gujarat Titans, the most consistent team in the IPL in the last game by 5 runs after scoring 177 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
