IPL 2022 mega auction is a few weeks away and all the 10 franchises will be able to pick their favourite players, however, a lot of star players have pulled out from IPL 2022 Mega Auction like AB de Villiers, Joe Root, Harbhajan Singh etc.

Let’s have a look at the top 10 players who won’t be a part of the IPL Mega Auction 2022.

AB de Villiers

The star player of RCB has a huge fan following from India. He announced his retirement from international cricket in 2021. Fans were definitely shocked by the decision but IPL 2022 will be surely missing his performance.

Joe Root

The skipper of England has stated clearly that he won’t be taking part in IPL. Recently, England had an embarrassing loss of 4-0 against Australia in Ashes after which Root is determined to focus his entire attention on Test cricket.

Ben Stokes

Ben Stokes was a part of the Ashes Test squad for England, and after the team’s massive loss he decided to take a rest in the summer season.

The hard hitter will be taking retirement from International cricket very soon. the 42-year old didn’t play for IPL 2022 due to his fitness issues and fatigue. It is speculated that Gayle will be missing IPL 2022.

Chris Morris had taken retirement from all formats of cricket in the first week of January so he won’t be a part of IPL 2022.

Harbhajan Singh

Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh had retired from cricket in December 2021 from every format, ending a 23-year old playing cricketing career. The fans will miss him in IPL 2022.

Ross taylor

Ross Taylor shocked the entire world by announcing his retirement in early 2022, thus the kiwi player’s name won’t be included in IPL 2022.

Dale Steyn

Dale Steyn had announced his retirement from cricket in August 2021. Thus, he won’t be a part of IPL 2022 but he is going to be a bowling coach for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Ryan Ten Doeschate

 The Dutch cricketer had announced his retirement from all the formats of cricket back in 2021. Thus he won’t be playing for IPL 2022 and the viewers will definitely miss his presence
