The KKR franchise has transformed their old jersey. The new jersey retains a hint of gold and purple with the logo of Kolkata Knight Riders the will appear at the top left corner of the jersey.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has revealed their new jersey for the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The franchise made the official announcement on Friday (March 18) via their official social media handles. The Managing Director, Venky Mysore and the skipper of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) side, Shreyas Iyer were present during the launch.
Shreyas Iyer launched the jersey and wore it which has been shot and posted on the twitter handle of KKR. The jersey has a tinge of gold and purple and the logo of the franchise can be seen at the top left corner though there are minor changes in the design of the jersey.
“Cannot ask for more than that. What we know of Shreyas Iyer is that he is going to lead by example with his effort and everything else will follow. It is a game, whatever happens will happen. But when that intent is there, when that effort is there, that is what you can ask for,” said Mysore in the video released by KKR on Twitter.
The team will face CSK on the opening day of IPL 2022 on 26th March 2022 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. KKR and CSK were the IPL finalists last year, the later won the season defeating KKR.
