An analysis is made by SellCell.com to find the top smartphones that maintaining the value in the online retailer market. The time range was considered for the last two years. As a result of this analysis, they discovered the iPhone XR is the one that depreciated lesser than other brand products. The rate of depreciation is 53.2% and the handset was released back in 2018.
In case you don’t know, SellCell.com is the world’s largest smartphone price comparison website and while performing this analysis they picked up the smartphones of Apple, Samsung, Sony, Google, and LG. Besides they compared the recommended retail price of 2018 with the present price.
As per the stats, around 40 percent of Android users replace their handsets every two years, whereas 58 percent wait until their phones go dead. On the other hand, 51 percent of the iPhone users prefer to get a new one in two years and 47 percent hold to the end of their iPhone’s life.
The analyst team found only the iPhone XR 64GB variant from 2018 that provides the best value still now with comparison to its generation smartphones. The depreciated value figure is 53%. The LG G7 64GB variant ranks the worst with around 90% depreciation rate.
