The Apple iPhone 14 series is going to be launching soon, the flagship has been the subject of multiple rumors and leaks, and now, the latest one reveals some information about the 14 Pro Series.
Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max will feature the Always On Display
If you did not already know, Apple will be integrating the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will come with the Always On Display. As per Mark Gurman’s most recent newsletter, it arrives with new UI features that come with iOS 16 and as per a report, the Always-On Display feature showcases brand new screen widgets and more.
These widgets include features such as weather updates, fitness, and other options that users will be able to customize. Mark Gurman states that “Like the Apple Watch, the iPhone 14 Pro will be able to show widgets displaying weather, calendars, stocks, activities, and other data while the screen remains at a low brightness and frame rate. There will be a setting also like the Apple Watch that keeps sensitive data from appearing on the lock screen for all to see.”
The iPhone 14 Pro’s Always On Display functions similarly to any other AOD on other smartphones which means it will show the user basic information such as time, date, notifications, and more.
iOS 16 to get an updated set of wallpapers:
The latest update will also bring with it new wallpapers, at the WWDC this year, Apple introduced the new MacBook Air and the Pro version which are powered by its M2 chipset, in addition to this, it announced the iOS 16 and macOS 13 Ventura as well.
In terms of major changes that the new update brings, we will see a revamped iOS lock screen with additional UI tweaks. The process of rendering wallpapers is now much easier and has been changed. Static wallpapers are rendered in real-time and they offer an animated view of the home and the lock screen.
Coming to the lock screen, it is more lively now as it has significant changes through which users can now add widgets and notification cards, and you can also customize them. The wallpapers now interact with the widgets and the clock on the lock screen giving it a completely new look.
With the Focus, Weather, Apple Pay, Live Activities, and other useful APIs all combined, there is a chance for better use cases on the lock screen. Apart from the lock screen changes, iCloud Shared library, Messages, Mail, Browsing experience, Apple Pay, and Wallet, Maps, and Security also feature updates now.
There are only two official wallpapers and the remainder of them are present on the iOS 16 Beta1 build. the wallpapers are categorized into Pride Wallpapers, Bokeh Wallpapers, Unity Wallpapers, Stripe Wallpapers, Weather Wallpapers, and IOS 16 Promotional Wallpapers.
