Intimacy (Season 2): Renewal Status

There is no such decision taken on the future of Intimacy that was declared in late June 2022. Spoiler from Bolavip, reveals the say that Netflix going to take the decision after 28 days but provided the way that things just tie up, and they just include, a second season that might not be a realistic expectation

The big reason for not returning is that the show has made more or less wrapped up in the main storyline. Bolavip recaps, “In one of the last scenes it is suggested that Malen is not satisfied with the resolution of his case, so Netflix could take that point in the story for a second season with more personal plots from different women”

ElcoMercio also disappoints the fans about the second season by saying:

“Although neither the protagonists nor the producers have mentioned anything about a possible second round of episodes,”

It has not been marked as a “mini-series” or a “limited Series” on any of such promotional material or the Netflix UI so maybe there is a little hope.

A big thanks to FlixPatrol as we have got a good indication as to what regions of the series are found well performance, and also how it’s performing in the top 10s in comparison with the other countries.

You also can see from the heat map that the series has got a huge response from the best across the world without any surprise. At first Spanish-language countries have accrued the most points for the series. Spain and Portugal are normally watching the show, in this list, Argentina also entries its name.

Many European series, they are tending to perform well in entire Europe, but when the series is showing up primarily the English-language countries, it’s started to get away from the favorite list of Europe and South America.

This data indicates that the series just reached popularity 5 days into the release, and declined dramatically ever since. The actual reason is still unknown whether it’s waning interest or everyone completing in a single sitting.

A big thanks for the source.
