Intel Rocket Lake Xeon E-2300 specs leaked

Intel’s Rocket Lake Xeon E-2300 CPU is also part of the entry-level Tatlow platform which also has applications in tier 2 and 3 CSPs and enterprise markets.

The Intel Xeon E-2300 lineup is built around the Tatlow platform replacing the former Juniper Pass platform. Also, the new Intel Rocket Lake comes with an updated socket to LGA 1200 which allows the CPU to support the latest processors.

The upgraded Tatlow platform provides improved DDR4 performance along with increased SATA ports, increased M.2 slots, and Gen 4 capabilities.

Intel Xeon E-2300 stack consists of 10 chips based on 14nm Cypress Cove architecture, these chips are further divided into a couple of SKU stacks in which one will have Intel’s integrated graphics while the second one will not be having any integrated graphics which offers up to 8 core, 6 core, & also 4 core SKUs in its lineup.

The flagship Intel Xeon E-2388G consists of 8 cores 16 threads and 16 MB of L3 cache. The chip clocks 3.20 GHz and with a boost, it can clock up to 5.10 GHz. The chip has a Thermal Design Power of 95W which will allow the chip to consume up to 200 Watts at PL2 ratings.

Also moving on to the next series the Intel Xeon E-2386G is also has been regarded as the fastest hexacore – 12 thread chip with 12 MB of L3 cache which clocks up to 3.10 GHz and when overclocked it clocks up to 5.10 GHz.

Adding on to that similar to its predecessor the Intel Xeon E-2374G is also the fastest quad-core chip which has 8 threads and 8MB of L3 cache and can be overclocked to 5.0 GHz.

The Rocket lake chips will be available in the latter part of the year while no rumours, report or announcement has come forward in regards to it’s cost.
