What Makes This Different From Regular Inkigayo
“Inkigayo ON THE GO” is a special music program that will be held at Paradise City in Incheon, allowing fans to enjoy a new viewing experience in an expanded location that goes beyond a music show centered around a broadcast studio.
That distinction matters more than it sounds. Regular Inkigayo episodes are filmed in controlled studio environments with limited live atmosphere. Taking the show outdoors to Paradise City — one of Korea’s most stunning integrated resort venues — transforms it from a broadcast programme into a full-scale concert experience. Fans don’t just watch; they become part of the show.
The First Lineup — A Solid Mix of Stars and Rising Acts
The first lineup of artists includes TXT, Xdinary Heroes, &TEAM, NCT WISH, KickFlip, CORTIS, and MODYSSEY.
This is a thoughtfully assembled bill. TXT and NCT WISH bring massive established fanbases, &TEAM and Xdinary Heroes are riding genuine momentum, while newer acts like KickFlip, CORTIS, and MODYSSEY give the event an exciting discovery element — exactly what a format-breaking special should offer.
More artists are still set to be announced, which means the lineup is only going to get stronger.
Inkigayo — which has aired on SBS since 1994 — is one of South Korea’s longest-running and most respected music chart programmes, making this outdoor evolution a significant moment in K-pop broadcast history.
