The team exudes confidence in their chances, backed by their triumph at the National Esports Championships (NESC) 2023 and the South Asian qualifiers. Furthermore, they draw motivation from the fact that two of their members, Vishal and Abhishek, were integral parts of the bronze medal-winning Commonwealth Esports Championships team in 2022.
The team recognizes the formidable nature of the upcoming competition. However, their determination to secure a spot in the World Esports Championships remains undeterred. Confident in both their skills and meticulous preparation, they eagerly anticipate the chance to proudly represent India on the international stage.
The Asian LAN qualifiers are scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from July 10th to 13th. Once concluded, the top two teams from these qualifiers will progress to the World Esports Championships. This prestigious event is set to be held in Iasi, Romania, spanning from August 24th until September 4th.
Both India’s DOTA 2 team and their male and female CS:GO teams will be participating in the Asian qualifiers. The male team’s qualifiers are scheduled for July 13-17, while the female team’s qualifiers will take place from July 15-17.
