The Story: One Wish, Endless Do-Overs

Maelyn “Mae” Jones is having a rough holiday season. She lives with her parents, dislikes her dead-end job and has just made a spectacular romantic blunder. Worse still, this is the last Christmas her family and two close families will spend at their beloved snowy Utah cabin, a tradition that has lasted her whole life.

As she drives away in a mental meltdown, Mae makes a plea to the universe, asking to be shown what will make her happy. Moments later there is a crash and darkness. Then she wakes on a plane heading to Utah, about to relive the same holiday all over again. Every disaster sends her back to the plane, and Mae must figure out how to break the loop and finally get her true love under the mistletoe.

It is a charming mix of romance, comedy and wish-fulfilment, and the one-wish-two-brothers setup promises a fun love triangle.

Why It Could Be Your Holiday Favourite?

Time-loop stories are comfort viewing at their best because they combine laughs with heart, and the Christmas setting adds cosy visuals. The snowy filming locations in British Columbia should make the cabin feel like a character of its own. If you enjoy festive rom-coms with a fantasy twist, this one looks perfect for a December movie night.
