IDOL SCHOOL CAMP: 24 K-Pop Rookies, Hidden Imposters & Pure Chaos — This Is the K-Variety Show You Didn’t Know You Needed

If your idea of the perfect variety show involves K-pop idols pointing fingers at each other, MCs losing their composure in laughter, and secret saboteurs hiding in plain sight — IDOL SCHOOL CAMP was literally made for you. The main teaser just dropped, and it already looks like the most chaotically entertaining thing coming to your screen this July.

What Is IDOL SCHOOL CAMP?

IDOL SCHOOL CAMP brings together 24 idols from four rookie boy groups — CLOSE YOUR EYES, AHOF, idntt, and FLARE U — as they bond through a fun-filled camp. Hidden among the contestants are secret “Monandol” (Imposters) whose mission is to make sure their own teams don’t win the games.

Think Among Us, but make it K-pop. The concept is perfect.

What Happens in the Teaser?

The teaser wastes zero time getting into the mayhem. CLOSE YOUR EYES’ Jang Yeojun immediately points the finger at fellow member Kim Sungmin, joking that he’s automatically suspicious because he’s a “weird kid.” MC Boom bursts into laughter and fires back that you can’t accuse someone just because they’re weird.

Meanwhile, AHOF’s Cha Woongki grows suspicious of teammate JL after the Filipino member instantly understands what “Monandol” means. As the games get underway, accusations fly left and right — though some members come to each other’s defence, hilariously insisting that a suspect is just naturally bad at games.

The energy is completely unhinged and we are fully here for it.

Why This Show Matters for K-Pop Fans

K-pop variety shows have long been one of the best ways for rookie groups to show off their personalities beyond their music — and IDOL SCHOOL CAMP is giving four new acts the perfect platform to do just that. For fans still getting to know CLOSE YOUR EYES, AHOF, idntt, and FLARE U, this show could be the moment everything clicks.
