What to Expect After Chapter 45’s Cliffhanger
Following the events of Chapter 45: “45th Hunt: Appearances Deceiving,” fans are on edge about Ichi’s magical predicament. Previous chapters showed Ichi confronted with the possibility of losing control over her magic, creating tension within the coven and putting closest allies in danger.
The storyline involving Desscaras and her ability to track, hunt, and acquire Majiks continues to be a central threat. As the first known male witch and contractor of the legendary Majik King Uroro, Ichi faces unique challenges that could reshape the witch world forever.
Series Background: Breaking Gender Barriers
Ichi the Witch takes place in a world where monsters composed of magic called Majiks exist, and specialized hunters called Witches can obtain magic from them after performing a trial, but it was thought only women could become witches. This premise makes Ichi’s journey particularly compelling for manga enthusiasts and supernatural fiction fans.
The series began serialization in September 2024 and has quickly gained popularity for its unique take on witch mythology and gender roles in magical societies.
Why This Chapter Matters
Chapter 46 represents a crucial turning point in the series. With mounting tensions from previous chapters and Ichi’s former mentor now positioned as an adversary, readers expect major revelations about the true nature of witch magic and Ichi’s unprecedented position.
For Weekly Shonen Jump readers and fans of magical adventure series, this chapter could establish important plot threads for future story arcs.
The combination of Osamu Nishi’s storytelling and Shiro Usazaki’s artwork continues to deliver a unique manga experience that challenges traditional magical narratives.
