HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G goes official in Taiwan for TWD$11,990($428)

A couple of days ago, we’ve got several leaks on the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G and now, HTC has finally made it official in Taiwan at a price tag of TWD$11,990($428). So, without wasting any time, let’s get into its specifications.

HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G Specifications:

The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G runs n the Android 10 OS and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC chipset. Regarding the display, this phone offers a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD punch-hole display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a faster refresh rate of 90Hz. This phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The SD 690 SoC of this phone is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage (expandable via an external microSD card). Coming to the camera section, this HTC device features a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with 118-degree FOV, and two 2MP f/2.4 sensors. For selfies, this phone houses a 16MP selfie snapper at the front.

The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G is fueled up by a 5,000mAH battery supported by 18W fast charging. On the right side, you will be introduced to the volume rockers along with a power button (a fingerprint sensor embedded in it). In terms of connectivity, everything is there such as a USB-C port for charging, 5G NR, 4G LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 2.4/5GHz, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and so on. This phone is available in two different color options: Star Blue, and Fantasy Purple.

Price and Availability

The HTC Desire 21 Pro carries a price tag of NT$11,990($428) for its sole 8GB/128GB variant and currently, the device is up for pre-orders whereas the regular shipments will start from January 21(Star Blue) and February 4(Fantasy Purple). Also, an early bird discount will be there as well valid from January 13- February 28, 2021, HTC mentions, and for the people of Taiwan, an extra 10% discount is there as well via the HTC website.
