The future of personal computing just got a serious upgrade. At Computex Taipei 2026, HP Inc. pulled back the curtain on a bold new lineup of AI-powered PCs built around NVIDIA’s RTX Spark™ platform — and whether you’re a developer, creator, or gamer, there’s something here that’ll make you sit up and take notice.

What Is NVIDIA RTX Spark™?

NVIDIA RTX Spark™ is NVIDIA’s next-generation platform purpose-built for slim, powerful laptops — bringing the full-stack AI capabilities of RTX technology to everyday machines with all-day battery life. Think of it as your personal AI supercomputing layer, right inside a thin laptop.

HP is one of the first PC makers to fully embrace RTX Spark, and the lineup they’ve announced is genuinely exciting.

The Highlights You Actually Care About

Thinnest RTX Spark Laptop in the World HP’s OmniBook Ultra 16 and OmniBook X 14 will be the slimmest RTX Spark devices on the planet — blending hardcore AI performance with a form factor built for mobility. Battery life and raw power, finally in the same package.

A Mini Desktop That Means Business The HP OmniDesk Mini Desktop is the world’s first Mini AI PC with Thunderbolt™ Share — letting you control two PCs with one keyboard and mouse. Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3, it supports up to four 4K displays and replaces bulky towers without sacrificing power. Coming August 2026.

Workstation Power, Off the Shelf The HP Z2 Mini G1a brings AMD Ryzen AI PRO 400 processors to retail, pre-loaded with AMD ROCm, AI frameworks, and guided developer playbooks. No setup friction — just plug in and start building.

AI for Classified Environments The HP ZGX Nano is built on Zero Trust principles, physically restricting wireless access and external interfaces for use in regulated, classified, or remote deployments. It’s a serious tool for serious security needs.

Why This Matters

As Samuel Chang, HP’s SVP of Consumer Personal Systems, put it — developers are no longer just experimenting with AI, they’re shipping agentic applications. HP’s new portfolio eliminates setup friction with pre-configured environments and open-source toolchains, giving builders a direct path from idea to execution.

Over 70% of enterprise PCs run Windows, and HP’s expanding support for Windows across its AI supercomputer lineup signals just how seriously the company is taking hybrid AI workflows at scale.
