Who Is Prosecutor Park Je-yeol — And Why Is He So Terrifying?

Park Je-yeol — formerly known as Park Joon-hwan — is Ra-young’s ex-boyfriend who once attempted to assault her during a law school trip. Hyeon-jin struck him on the head with a branch to stop the attack, causing him to fall into a river. Presumed missing, he survived with severe head trauma and memory loss, was sent abroad, and returned as a prosecutor — though the injury left him with a neurotic condition causing his right hand to tremble. The real gut-punch? He remembers everything now — and he’s not here to forgive.

What Happens in Episodes 5 & 6?

Park threatens Ra-young to back off from investigating the Connect app, suggesting that if she apologizes for the past, he might drop the reinvestigation into the attempted murder case. Ra-young firmly refuses, stating she has nothing to apologize for and will never forgive him. Wikipedia

Meanwhile, Hyeon-jin discovers she is pregnant — a storyline that adds emotional weight just as her marriage starts cracking under pressure.

Shin-jae also gains access to Reporter Lee’s laptop, which contains evidence linking a senior police officer, Kim Seong-jin, to the Connect app — though the full identity isn’t yet revealed. Wikipedia

The tension is building episode by episode, and the writers are masterfully peeling back each layer.
