Honor unveiled its Honor X8 powered by the Snapdragon 680 earlier this month, not the Chinese company has unveiled the Honor X9, a much more powerful device in Malaysia. The new device by Honor features a massive display, a high refresh rate, an impressive chip, and a good battery along with a triple camera setup. The Honor X9 is the global version of the Honor X30 which debuted in China in December 2021.
The Honor X9 features a 6.81″ IPS LCD panel with a punch-hole setup. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels along with a high refresh rate of 120Hz.
In the optics department, Honor has integrated a triple camera setup on the rear with a 48MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you will get a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Snapdragon 695 chip powers the Honor X9, the device comes with 8GB RAM and support for 128GB storage. It runs on Android 11 OS with Magic UI 4.2 on top. It packs a 4,800mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging.
It supports face unlock for security and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Honor X9 supports dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
Honor has not yet revealed any information with respect to the pricing or availability of the Honor X9, users can purchase it in Midnight Black, Titanium Silver, and Ocean Blue.
As per rumors, the company is planning to launch the Honor X7 soon in global markets. It is likely to be a rebranded version of the Honor X30i which was exclusive to China.
