Honor Band 6 was launched in global markets back in March and came with an AMOLED display, heart rate, blood oxygen monitor, and multiple colour options. But the smart band from HONOR will launch in India within few days. Today, the new info comes straight from India’s Flipkart. The new wearable was found listed in Flipkart revealing familiar design as the previous generation of the wearable. This new Honor Band will compete in the budget fitness wearable and smartwatch segment.
Honor Band 6 specifications
Honor Band 6 sports a large 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with 194 x 368 pixels resolution, 283 PPI, 2.5D curved protected glass. It has a physical button on the side that can be used for navigation. The fitness tracker measures 43×25.4×10.45mm, and weighs just 18 grams. It can track 10 activities including running (indoor and outdoor), walking, cycling, free training, a rowing machine, and an elliptical machine. It packs a 6-axis IMU sensor including an accelerometer and a gyroscope. There is an optical heart-rate sensor, blood oxygen monitor sensor, and TruSeen 4.0 heart-rate monitoring, TruSleep 2.0 sleep tracking, and TruRelax stress tracking. It can auto-detect workouts as well.
This Honor Band connects via Bluetooth 5.0 and also supports NFC. It packs a 180mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 14 days on a single charge. It supports fast charging as well and multiple watches faces. You can also use the band to control music playback on your smartphone among other things. The wearable also comes with a dedicated store for third-party watch faces and will also be able to scroll notifications directly from the phone including caller ID for incoming calls.
Honor Band 6 price
The Honor Band 6 is live on Flipkart with a price tag of INR 5,999 ($82). For now, isn’t clear if any launch discounts or promotional pricing will also be offered. The launch date hasn’t been confirmed, but we assume that it will happen before mid-June.
