Honor Band 6 launched with 1.47-inch full-screen AMOLED display

Huawei had an exciting run-up this year. With being banned by the US government for user data security, not to purchase semiconductor chipsets manufactured using US technology. However, the company is slowly inching towards success as most of its suppliers and partners obtain a US administration license to continue their business with the Chinese tech giant.

The company subdivision Honor has launched a new smart wearable device called the Honor Band 6. The company has dubbed the smart band as the world’s first fitness tracker with a full-screen display. The smart band has been launched in two variants, one with NFC and one without it.

The wearable follows the of the famous Honor Watch ES. The Honor Band 6 sports a 1.47-inch AMOLED display and supports up to 194×368 pixel resolution. The show comes protected by a 2.5D glass.

The company has not offered any capacitative button for the device. It relies entirely on gestures for navigation through its UI. However, the wearable has one red-accented physical button on the right that can wake up the screen. The wearable is launched in three color variants the Meteorite Black, Seagull Grey, and Coral Powder. But the color variants are only available for straps and not for the main body.
