Grab your backpacks — Hollywood Arts High School is back in session. Netflix has confirmed that Hollywood Arts, the long-awaited Victorious spin-off, premieres October 15, 2026, with Daniella Monet returning as Trina Vega, now a very unqualified substitute teacher trying to wrangle a new generation of talented, chaotic teens.
What’s the Show About?
Trina takes the acting-teacher job hoping to ride her students’ famous last names back into the spotlight. Instead, she stumbles onto something real: an actual knack for teaching. Co-creator Jake Farrow says fans will see a more matured, likeable version of Trina this time around — character growth the original show never had room for.

The New Kids on the Block
Over 5,700 actors auditioned for the young cast, landing a mix of musical talent and dramatic chops: Alyssa Miles as a secretly gifted tech producer, Peyton Jackson as a musical genius hiding behind a fake basketball scholarship, and Erika Swayze as a sharp-tongued rich girl. It’s classic Victorious DNA — big talent, bigger personalities — dropped into a new decade.
Will the Original Cast Return?
Monet says former co-stars like Victoria Justice and Elizabeth Gillies are watching to see how the spin-off lands before committing to cameos. But eagle-eyed fans already spotted one confirmed callback: Yvette Nicole Brown reprising Principal Helen.
