Just when you thought Sam Nelson had seen the worst of it — a bomb-rigged Berlin subway, a manipulative mole, his ex-wife on the run in the woods — Hijack Season 2 cranks the pressure up another notch. Episode 6 blew the conspiracy wide open by finally naming Robert Lang as the mastermind, and now with only two episodes remaining, every second counts. Episode 7, titled “Contact,” is almost here.

Where Episode 6 Left Things — and Why Episode 7 Matters So Much
Episode 6 took the investigation to a deeper level and identified Robert Lang as the key figure behind the entire operation. Variety That revelation reframes everything Sam has been fighting through since the season premiere. Meanwhile, Marsha outsmarts her pursuers by pretending to help Gold with first aid before mentioning a nearby Accident and Emergency centre Wikipedia — a clever move, but one that buys only so much time.
In “Contact,” Sam is expected to gamble on dangerous tactics to outmanoeuvre the police Variety, and the pressure from both law enforcement and intelligence agencies is intensifying simultaneously. Olivia is also expected to try influencing Winter’s next move Wikipedia — a power play that could shift the entire board heading into the finale.
Season 2 moves Hijack from the sky to the underground — Sam is this time caught aboard a hijacked Berlin U-Bahn subway train, with bombs under each carriage and a mole among the passengers. It’s the same real-time, nerves-of-steel format that made Season 1 a global hit, but the stakes feel considerably more personal this time around.
Two Episodes Left — and a Finale That Has to Deliver
The eight-episode season runs from January 14 to March 4, 2026 Disney, with the weekly Wednesday rollout keeping tension alive between instalments. Season 2 currently sits at 73% on Rotten Tomatoes — below Season 1’s 90% — but with the Robert Lang reveal and Marsha’s deteriorating situation in play, the final stretch has every opportunity to close strong.
