Lenovo teased a tablet with the Legion branding last week, revealing its looks, design, and Dolby Vision audio in part. The device has now been officially unveiled by the company.
The Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet, according to an ITHome report, has finally been unveiled by Lenovo. It’s clear from the Legion branding that this tablet is aimed at gamers, specifically mobile gamers who want something larger than a smartphone but not as large as a tablet. With its 8.8-inch 2560 x 1600p display, this tablet aims to meet that need. The device is said to have a 120Hz refresh rate screen with a 240Hz touch sampling rate and a DCI-P3 color gamut of 100 percent.
The Legion Y700’s bezels are inconsistent in width, according to the teaser poster. Furthermore, a single camera with a flash on the back may be seen. The tablet has a boxy form with sharp, right-angled edges and a brushed metal finish added to these edges for a more premium appeal, according to previous teasers. JBL, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos tags were previously seen on one of the tablet’s corners, hinting that the tablet will likely include some incredibly high-quality speakers for a superb gaming experience.
Lenovo hasn’t revealed any other information about the impending tablet, but as a gaming-focused gadget, we should anticipate it to be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and best Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. So stay tuned for additional information as we will keep you informed of any significant developments.
