Here’s the list of upcoming big Bollywood films releasing this year and also in the upcoming year

A bunch of new movies is all set to get their release. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, everything has come to a halt, many movies are in the lineup which is going to be released this year and also in the upcoming years. So, in order to know each and every detail keep an eye on it. Here we present the list of upcoming movies:-

1. Sooryavanshi – 22nd October 2021

Sooryavanshi is an upcoming Indian action film. It is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Reliance Entertainment, Rohit Shetty Picturez, Dharma Productions and Cape of Good Films. The film’s script is written by Yunus Sajawal, Farhad Samji, Sanchit Bendre, and Vidhi Ghodgankar and an original story by Shetty. It is the fourth instalment of Shetty’s Cop Universe. It stars Akshay Kumar as Anti-Terrorism Squad chief DCP Veer Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif with a supporting cast of Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikander Kher, Nikitin Dheer, and Javed Jaffrey. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will come back and reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise’s previous film. The film is going to be released on 22nd October 2021.

2. 83 – 24th December 2021

83 is an upcoming Indian biographical sports film. It is directed by Kabir Khan and jointly produced by Khan, Vishnuvardhan Induri, Deepika Padukone, and Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is co-distributed by Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Ranveer Singh as cricketer Kapil Dev, along with Deepika Padukone, Tahir Raj, Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, and many more. The film is going to be released on 24th December 2021.

3. Jayeshbhai Jordaar – 25th February 2022

Jayeshbhai Jordaar is an upcoming Indian social comedy film. It is written and directed by Divyang Thakkar. The film is produced by Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma. The film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role who will portray a Gujarati man, who believes in equal rights between males and females in society. The film also features Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani, and Ratna Pathak Shah. The film is going to be released on 25th February 2022.

4. Shamshera – 18th March 2022

Shamshera is an upcoming Indian period action drama film. It is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Karan Malhotra. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor with Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt who will be portraying the antagonist. The film is going to be released on 18th March 2022.

5. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 – 25th March 2022

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is an upcoming Indian comedy horror film. It is directed by Anees Bazmee and is produced by Bhushan Kumar. This film is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan’s 2007 iconic horror comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film stars Kartik Aaryan, Tabu, and Kiara Advani. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is going to be released on 25th March 2022.

6. Jersey – 31st December 2021

Jersey is an upcoming Indian sports drama film. It is written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is produced by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and Suryadevara Nga Vamsi. This film is basically a remake of his 2019’s Telugu film named Jersey. It stars Shahid Kapoor as a cricketer along with Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur. Initially, the film was set to be released on 28th August 2020 but due to the Covid-19 pandemic production was got delayed. So, finally, the film is going to be released on 31st December 2021.

7. Bachchan Pandey – 4th March 2022

Bachchan Pandey is an upcoming Indian action comedy film. It is directed by Farhad Samji and written by Nischay Kuttanda and Farhad Samji. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead roles. The film is going to be released on 4th March 2022.

8. Satyameva Jayate 2 – 26th November 2021

Satyameva Jayate 2 is an upcoming Indian vigilante action film. It is written and directed by Milap Zaveri and further produced by T-Series and it is distributed by AA Films. This film is basically based on the fight against justice and misuse of power. It is an official spiritual sequel pf 2018’s film Satyameva Jayate. It stars John Abraham in a double role along with Divya Khosla Kumar. It also features Rajeev Pillai and Anup Soni in an important role. The film is going to be released on 26th November 2021.

9. Raksha Bandhan – 11th August 2022

Raksha Bandhan is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film. It is directed by Anand L.Rai and it is produced by Zee Studios, Colour Yellow Productions, and Cape of Good Films. The story of the film is written by Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. The story of the film revolves around the love, bonding, and attachment between brother-sister. It features Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles. It also features Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb, and Smrithi Srikanth. The film is going to be released on 11th August 2022.

10. Laal Singh Chaddha – 11th February 2022

Laal Singh Chaddha is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film. It is directed by Advait Chandan. The screenplay was written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni. It is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. This film is an adaption of the 1994 American Film Forrest Gump which itself is based on Winston Groom’s 1986 novel of the same name. It stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, and Nga Chaitanya. The film is going to be released on 11th February 2022.
