What Is the Story About?
A man and a woman remember the same event in completely different ways. Each insists their version is true, and they clash fiercely as they search for the real story. The posters hint at what looks like the pair’s “perfect first date,” which makes viewers wonder what went wrong afterward.
Meet the Two Leads
Yoo Yeon Seok as Min Joon Ho
Joon Ho is known as a man who tells the truth. He’s a cardiac surgeon and a father raising his son alone after his wife’s death. His poster caption calls him “the man who tells the facts.” For more on the actor, see Yoo Yeon-seok on Wikipedia.
Seo Hyun Jin as Kang Ji Sun
Ji Sun is an elementary school librarian and teacher who insists her version of events is the truth. She goes beyond listening to what people say and carefully studies the intentions behind their words. Her caption describes her as “the woman who claims to know the truth.”
The Posters: Looking Through Glass
The character posters show both leads staring straight at the camera, as if viewed through glass. The idea captures how hard their true feelings are to read. There are no elaborate props or movements, just brief moments that rely on the actors’ expressive faces.
The captions also set up the mystery. One says “facts” and the other says “claims,” so it’s unclear which of them is “The Liar.”
