HBO’s Lanterns First Trailer Is Here — And It’s Nothing Like You Expected From a Green Lantern Show

Lanterns Key Details at a Glance

Two Lanterns. One Murder. Zero Room for Rookies.

The trailer opens on a desolate highway where a frustrated John — two months into training and still yet to even wear the ring — is bluntly told by Jordan that he’s still “a f***ing substitute teacher.” Jordan then rolls right out of a moving car, sending it plunging off an embankment, forcing John to save himself on instinct. Star-Studded Cast & A Legacy to Redeem

The supporting cast includes Kelly Macdonald as a small-town sheriff, Ulrich Thomsen as the rogue ex-Lantern Sinestro, Laura Linney, Paula Patton, and Nathan Fillion returning as Guy Gardner from Superman. Wikipedia

This will most definitely be nothing like the 2011 Ryan Reynolds Green Lantern film, widely considered one of the worst superhero movies ever made. Big Brother Wiki
