HARMAN, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has been honored with the 2022 ISG Digital Case Study Award for its exceptional work in transforming Domino’s Pizza Group’s digital experience. The award, presented by Information Services Group (ISG), recognizes HARMAN’s Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) business unit for its contributions to enhancing and revolutionizing DPG’s eCommerce technology platforms and operations.

The company deployed multiple agile teams to modernize DPG’s platforms, replacing legacy technologies with automation that enables robust quality assurance strategies, efficient demand management, and increased operational efficiency. Through innovation trials, including an automated self-service EPOS platform and an advanced delivery tracking system, HARMAN facilitated safe ordering for drivers and enhanced the customer experience. Additionally, an automated testing infrastructure was implemented to streamline the launch of new products.

The partnership between HARMAN and DPG resulted in significant optimization of DPG’s workforce, saving the company considerable time and resources during the launch of its new digital services. This recognition from ISG validates the company’s ability to help retailers globally achieve better business outcomes through human-centric design and technological transformation.

Nick Parrotta, President of Digital Transformation Solutions & Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at the company, expressed gratitude for the ISG award and emphasized the importance of helping customers technologically transform to succeed in competitive markets. Sody Kahlon, Chief Technology Officer at Domino’s Pizza Group Ltd., praised HARMAN for their speedy assistance and essential contributions in accelerating strategic initiatives.

Notably, the company received additional recognition for standout client case studies in healthcare and travel & logistics, demonstrating their expertise in digital transformation across various industries. Out of more than 320 global provider submissions, and it was among the 14 providers with multiple standout recognitions.

Paul Reynolds, ISG Partner and Chief Research Officer highlighted the widespread adoption of digital technologies and business models showcased in the case studies. With digital becoming a mainstream focus, businesses are now prioritizing modernizing the back office to deliver enhanced customer and employee experiences, advanced analytics, and improved efficiency.
